Brown cloth with stamped decorations (front and spine in black, back cover blind), gilt lettering on spine and front cover, gilt decoration on spine, 242 pages. Fictional account of the Danish invasion of England in 1007. Small amount of wear to corners and tip and tail of spine, top edge and fore edge darkened and with small stains, a few small marks on covers, endpapers foxed and front ones have four names and five prices in ink and pencil and sticker, back free endpaper has stain, gilt is bright, especially on front cover. A sweet edition of this book.
